RDS Overview

Role: SREs, CloudOps, DevOps, and DBA’s who are admins.

Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for MySQL is a managed database service provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that simplifies the setup, operation, and scaling of MySQL databases in the cloud.

SixthSense Observability monitors RDS MySQL performance metrics and alerts are triggered in case of any anomalies.

Users onboard AWS RDS MySQL service on the SixthSense platform so that MySQL metrics can be retrieved. RDS MySQL metrics are captured via Cloudwatch so that users can analyse performance of the database and take remediation action proactively.
