Validating an agent installation

To validate if the agent is installed successfully, follow the procedure below.

  1. Ensure that the agent is running by checking if the agent process is running.
  2. You can check if an agent is registered and send data by logging into the Sixthsense Observability Portal.

Please wait for 5 minutes for the data to reflect in the portal.

  1. If there is no agent process and no data reported, collect the agent log files, details related to application framework, and raise a ticket with Customer Support at info-observability@mail.rakuten.com for further assistance.
