Editing grok patterns

  1. Hover on any row in the Viewing logs/grok patterns pane.

  2. Click the    icon to edit the grok pattern.

  3. The following fields in the Edit grok pattern screen are displayed.

    FieldDescription
    Grok pattern nameName of the grok pattern you created. Pre-filled by default.
    SourceName of the source you have selected to edit. Pre-filled by default.
    TagName of the tag you have selected to edit. Pre-filled by default.
    Grok patternThe grok pattern created earlier. Edit the grok pattern.

  4. Click Update.
